WHO WE ARE

We’ve manufactured Nordic Ware products in Minneapolis, Minnesota for nearly 80 years. Founded by H. David and Dorothy Dalquist in 1946, our company is a multi-generational family-owned and operated business. We are leaders in our industry, and our extensive lines of American-made kitchen products enjoy distribution across North America and around the globe.

Consumers may know us best as the producers of the most highly rated baking sheets in the world, the developers of the first microwave oven turntable, or the creators of the iconic Bundt® Pan, but they also recognize Nordic Ware as a broad-based kitchenware brand that consistently represents innovative design, heirloom quality, and long-term value. Paired with excellent customer service and a commitment to integrity in every facet of our business, it’s no wonder consumers place their trust in us. We’ve provided American-made kitchenware to homes and commercial kitchens for a very long time, and we always strive to meet or exceed the expectations of the bakers and cooks who rely on our products.

MADE IN AMERICA

Made in America means more than where we manufacture our kitchenware. It signifies a deep-rooted commitment to providing American jobs that support families and their communities. American-made products come with the guarantee that strict U.S. standards are met. From cleaner manufacturing practices to health and safety regulations to fair wages and compensation, American-made goods are a responsible, healthy, and environmentally friendly choice for consumers. We work with North American vendors for most of our supply needs too, which is ecologically sound because components can travel much shorter distances. While none of this changes the reality that people want to buy goods costing the least amount of money, more and more conscientious consumers understand the important benefits of buying American.

OUR MINNESOTA HEADQUARTERS: CORPORATE OFFICES AND FACTORY ALL IN ONE

Everything necessary to produce our signature products happens in one place, from ideation, design, and product development to transforming raw materials into finished, packaged goods. This is most unusual in today’s world. We provide jobs for hundreds of people in America at a time when most manufacturers in our industry have moved overseas. Because we monitor the process from start to finish, we know what goes into everything we make. Our factory is a fascinating amalgamation of craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology. When products leave our facility, we are confident they will enhance the lives of others and stand the test of time. We who work at the company use and enjoy Nordic Ware products in our own homes, and we take a great deal of pride in what we produce for the world.

SUSTAINABILITY

Being sustainable is not a fad or trend at Nordic Ware; it is something we've been practicing for many years. Let’s face it: we live in a world where it’s necessary to read labels and make sure that what we’re buying is safe for ourselves and our families. This is especially true when it comes to products that that come in contact with the food we eat. While some level of comfort can be discerned from looking at the country of origin or seeing what material a product is made from, the curious consumer is still left with many questions:

  • Was this product produced with any regard to environmental impact?
  • Did the manufacturer adhere to federal environmental regulations? Better yet, were there any regulations in place in the item’s country of origin?
  • Were fair labor practices employed? Were health benefits and fair wages given, and was child labor forbidden?
  • Did the factory have any safety procedures for its employees to keep them out of harm’s way?
  • How closely was this product supervised during its production ? Can I be certain no substitute ingredients were used to make it beyond what is labeled?
  • How far did this product have to travel before it got to the store I found it in?

POWERED BY THE SUN

In 2022, we installed a 120 kWh solar array on our corporate campus to help supply some of our power needs. In early 2024, Nordic Ware will activate an expansion of this array which will triple its capacity as part of a continued commitment to reducing our carbon footprint for the future. The system is designed in a way to allow excess solar energy to feed back into the local power grid to help power the surrounding area on weekends when our factory and offices are closed.
